A heavy cast solid silver cigar ashtray call marks for Holland 1847.

Finely decorated around the edge with flowers scrolling leaves and birds.

The centre of the ashtray is highly decorated in repousse work with period scenes of drinking and musicians at a Dutch Inn.

It is a very good gauge of silver weighing in at 58.2g nearly two Troy ounces. And measures about 8.2cm by 12.3cm, a very good size.
