If you are looking for a replacement board, looking to switch to a more portable board, or you are looking for an alternative board to install to a bare Xootr, this may be the solution for you.
This board will make your scooter look sleeker, weigh less, and give you the portability you expect from your device. It is as slim, but lighter, than the cool metal slim boards that are sold by the manufacturer. Weighing less than one pound, it is lighter than any board currently on the market. As you can, see the slim board complement the design of the Xootr very well as the Xootr has a slim design itself.
It is actually possible to take your backpack and Xootr on a plane as a carry on.
However, to be able to have this kind of portability, you have to switch to a slim board. As a matter of fact, my girlfriend and I tried to stuff the Cruz into the Elyts backpack and it was too uncomfortable to bare, which is how the need to make a custom board arose.

All Xootr models, except for the MG, use the same frame, so it is easy to take off the old board and replace it with this one. Also, as many of you may know, the manufacturer sells the complete Xootr without the board for only $175. If this is your first time buying a Xootr and don't want to pay $300 for a scooter that comes with a slim board, you can buy the frame from the manufacturer and install this board instead.

These boards are constructed of birch plywood which is one of the standard woods used for making skateboards. If you are switching from the wooden board sold by the manufacturer of Xootrs you will notice that this board is a bit thinner than that board. Rest assured this thin board is tough enough for your riding and just as effective as your original board. Out of curiosity I tested the strength of the slim board. I put on a 60 pound vest and weighed in at 228.8 pounds during this test.

Though you will likely never put this much strain on your board due to the Xootr frame's support, the results show just how strong this material really is.
