Nikon Nikkormat FT camera with Non-Ai 50mm f/2 Nikkor-H-C lens
Nikon Nikkormat FT camera body Sn. 4416510 with 50mm f/2 Nikkor-H-C Sn.2184999. This is the first version of the Nikkormat camera made for about 2 years, 1965-1967. The Nikkormat FT is a mechanical camera with CdS TTL metering and speeds to 1/1000 with synch at 1/125. The pentaprism is not interchangeable and there is no provision for a motor drive. The meter shows in the finder and in a window on the camera top. The meter is working and seems accurate, but is not tested. Also, the shutter works properly at all speeds and seems accurate, but is not tested. The self timer is working., the mirror is clean. The lens shows cosmetic wear, but the glass is clear and the diaphram responds crisply.
Cosmetically there is a dent on the top of prism and taps and bright marks on the baseplate. Also, a name and number have been engraved on the baseplate. For privacy, part of each have been taped over in the photo.
