This amazing Selmer Mark VI (1969) has a rich history but deserves a new home where she will be played. In 1979, my band director Ralph Smith - a legend in Texas high school band- acquire her for me. He told me at the time that this was a very special instrument. My friend Laurie and I named her Sexy Sarah since she was a Parisian. She was made in France and has the engraved flowers that are associated with Paris production. I have had a couple of opportunities over the past 30 years to sell her but held on because of the numerous fond memories surrounding Sarah and the Dimmitt Bobcat Marching Band. Our band won sweepstakes for over 25 years with Smith leading us. But, It's time to let her go.

Included in this purchase, is the original neck and mouth piece with a little bag. Two other mouth pieces are included - an Artistic 4*R HOCUF and an unmarked one. Also, 6 reeds in a box marked "Armstrong"- I think one of the mouth pieces came in this box, a couple of tubes of cork grease (Leblanc and Conn), and a Ray Hyman neck strap. The original plastic bag from 1982 is in the compartment for covering the horn if it rained.

I will ship for free and insure for the full value. Please ask for more pictures if you would like. Also, please notice there is a small dent in the bottom curve. It does not affect the quality of the sound. The horn sounds great but may need a tune up after 35 years. The only work while I had this horn was professionally replacing the pads. The finish is still great as shown in the pictures.

To the winning buyer, I am honored you chose Sexy Sarah. My opinion is that the sax is the BEST instrument ever.

Happy bidding and God bless you and our great country.
