This is a Genuine Old United States Gold Dollar that was carved into a "Love Token"

The Obverse is of the Undated Gold Indian Princess Dollar Coin (made between 1856 and 1889).

The reverse is a carved motif that includes the initials "WDP" (I think), as well as other nice decoration (including Birds and Fish?).

The coin is approx 13MM in diameter and weighs about 1.3 grams (and is .900 fine gold).

It has a loop soldered to the top (with black solder), and comes with a loose "Bail" (tested to be "not gold", but it is gold colored).  

With the bail attached, this coin makes a nice Pendant!

Please note that the coin is slightly bent and there is wear to the front (coin side).

A nice piece for someone who wants a US gold coin Pendant or Charm!
