Vintage Globa World Timer Sport

Rare vintage hand-winding Globa World Timer Sport telemeter with stop-watch (not chronograph, see below*) in fine condition. Black dial with silver numerals. Telemeter and 60 secs. scale in green on inner ring; 2 location sub-dials and base scale in centre. Silver hour/minute hands and central silver second hand. Bi-directional bezel in black with world location in silver. Brown leather strap measuring 18mms at lugs tapering to 16mms at polishd pin/buckle, plus new sand canvas nato strap. Watch is in remarkably fine condition for its age (circa 1960) showing light wear marks (with some chrome worn off one button) and works perfectly. No box or papers.

* How to operate the stopwatch: The subdial hands are linked to the main hands, whilst the only hand operated by the push buttons is the centre second. The operation of the buttons is only a start and a stop (lower to start, higher to stop), there is no reset. For recording time periods greater than a minute, set the hands to 12 (which resets the subdials to 0) and then hit start and set the crown in. When your finished, you reset the watch hands to the correct time.
