Up for sale is a Nikon 80-200mm f/2.8 af-s. This is a workhorse lens for portraits and sports and an important addition to any photographer's bag. This version was manufactured from 1999-2004 before being replaced by the VR version (this lens does not have VR). Sturdy metal construction and feels like a tank. The af-s designation means it will also autofocus on nikon's entry level cameras which lack an AF motor in camera.

Condition: Optically it's perfect.  The exterior shows wear from years of use.  Autofocus is snappy 95% of the time, if you let it sit without focusing for awhile it takes a moment to respond, but grab the focus ring and twist it then it goes back to normal.

Included is the lens, front cap, back cap, lens hood, and tripod collar (tripod plate shown in photos is not included. The D700 is also not included).
