I'm Hope Barrow, the artist behind Hope's Dream Babies. I've been a reborn artist since 2001 and have enjoyed watching the art evolve into what it is today. There have been so many changes over the years, but one thing remains the same, and that is the time, effort and love that goes into to creating these amazing little works of art. My dolls have sold to people all over the world and have been displayed in the Minnesota Historical Society's ''Baby Boom'' Nursery Exhibit. I've had one doll featured in a Public Service commercial about SIDS, and several others featured in Network TV shows and an Independent Films.

You will choose:
Your babies skin tone and coloring
(You can choose anything from pale, fair skinned, to peaches and cream, to a very extreme blotchy newborn look! I encourage you send sample photos of your own or use my photos below as a guide)
Eye Color
(I can get pretty much any color you can dream up!)
Painted hair color and style
(Again, if you don't see a style below that you love, please feel free to send photos!)
Boy or Girl
(Kadence is not anatomically correct so she will either come dressed as a girl or boy)

All of my babies are hand painted and sealed with fine quality air dry paints, which are non-toxic, and once cured become permanent.
I use several thinned layers to create that ''living skin'' appearance and life-like quality in all of my dolls. Painting detail includes skin tone, mottling, brows, nails, hair, veining and blemishes. Her delicate eye lashes have been hand rooted with fine mohair.
The Kadence Sculpt is a 16'' preemie, so she is quite tiny and fits perfectly into preemie sized clothing!
She has 3/4 vinyl arms and legs that will be assembled onto a custom made doe suede body. She will also come with a painted vinyl belly/chest plate for more fun with posing and picture taking!![]()
Kadence will be weighted to about 3 lbs unless her new mommy requests otherwise. She will be filled and weighted with fine glass beads, plastic pellets, and soft polyfil. All of my babies have a very natural/floppy feel to them and curl right up in your arms.
