Quite a rare colour option.

The Pencil on the Collectible Stars Portal looks a bright green..................as pictured above.

Montblanc gives the colour it the sales leaflet as ‘VIRIDIAN GREEN’

Others describe it as ‘Olive Green’ or ‘Sea Green'

The true colour is more representative of the rollerball on the site, as below......

The pencil has a durable powder coated finish in deep dark green, with gold accents.

It has a GOLD knurled push button cap/ top to activate and retract the leads, with the Montblanc star in white surrounded by black precious resin. 

The cap pulls off to reveal the eraser - this is unused showing how little use this pencil has had.

The pencil unscrews to reveal the lead refill barrel, which has the knurled lower portion, presently fitted with five 0.5 mm leads.

This reads

‘max 5 Minen a’ 0.5mm’

‘max 5 leads a’ 0.5mm’

There is a further gold band where the pencil unscrews.

Inscribed at the base of the cap, where it unscrews is a very clear factory imprint -

'MONTBLANC - GERMANY'

The clip is also gold plated, with a Montblanc motif at the base.

The pencil is unmarked and looks superb - I would offer as new but have no provenance it has not been used - so it is described as used. It still has the 5 leads in the chamber.

The deep green finish  looks stunning against the bright gold accents.

These pencils use the standard Montblanc 0.5mm leads, but will take any other leads from leading manufactures in whatever grade you need, ‘Hs’ - ‘HBs’ ‘Bs’ or ‘F’ Grade -

Please note  - these are ‘ SLIM’ pens, and not as thick in stature as their modern counterparts

Overall the pencil is still quite stunning.  -  it cannot fail to be noticed laid on a table or in the hand. 

Metal bodied they should last a lifetime, and give many years of service. 

This pencil is over 30 years old, and is still looks fantastic, a testimony to its' build quality.

I describe my pens as accurately as possible. I supply as many pictures as I can to help with that description. I do not take pictures of it in a box, unless it comes with the box. Wear is shown and described fully as are any marks etc.

I do not sell FAKES, I take a lot of time and effort to identify the pens I sell, and they are all GENUINE and AUTHENTIC.

I take the time to try and describe them as accurately as possible, and take photographs to assist with any decision you may need to bid on the items or not.

I now tend to concentrate on the metal bodied pens throughout the range, as these are far stronger, wear well with age, and last much longer than their precious resin counterparts. They are also able to take abuse, and the day to day knocks, bumps and falls.

I ensure that they are supplied with a working cartridge or refill, and if not will say so, and assist in my listings with possible alternatives for future use.

If a box is supplied I will say so, otherwise all pens come well wrapped and packaged, as my feedback proves.

All pens are cleaned and inspected, and checked, prior to listing

Within the UK I post the items by Next Day signed for and charge the appropriate rate for this, using either brand new Jiffy Bags or good quality recycled ones. This ensures you get the pen very quickly, it is adequately insured for both parties, and is faster then First Class post. (There is about £1.00 difference by the time you add the insurance on first class and for the value of the items sent, Next Day service is the preferred option.

Internationally I ship by Air Sure only, this is door to door signed fully insured – I will not ship any other way, so please do not ask

With both postal options I provide the tracking number to you as soon as the item is posted

I will combine postage on any multiple items purchased
