Eddy Merckx Corsa Extra Road Bike Frame
Lugged Steel Frame in Good Condition
60.5cm Seat 58.5cm Top Tube Center to Center
This is a Belgian handmade, Eddy Merckx Corsa Extra frame and fork made from Columbus SLX steel . This bike is used and has numerous paint chips and scratches and there is one dent. The worst damage is a dent in the middle of the seat tube about 1" long, 3/4" wide and 1/8" deep. The paint has been touched up by hand, but it is not perfect. The chainstays have several chips just behind the bottom bracket. There is a large chip on the bottom of the top tube just in front of the seat tube junction. The Campagnolo Athena headset, binder bolt, and Chorus bottom bracket as well as the Kalloy aero seatpost are included. The rear brake cable is interally routed. This frame is an excellent all around steel road bike, race ready, and comfortable to ride more than a century too! So much history is in this frame, there isn't enough room to describe it.
