Designed by Arc'teryx, Manufactured by Propper, these Improved Load Bearing Equipment (ILBE) Main Packs were First Introduced in 2004 to replace the  Heavier MOLLE Packs for the US Marine Corps to Provide a Durable and Lightweight means of Transporting Clothing and Equipment.  The Gen II Pack has the Coyote Brown Padding and Buckles, and is Produced in the Digital Woodland Camo Marine Pattern. The ILBE Pack is Designed to Carry a Load of up to 120lbs but Distributes the Weight Much Better than the MOLLE System for Maximum Comfort. The Key Feature to the Pack's Comfort is the Much Thicker and More Comfortable Quick Release Shoulder Straps that can be Adjusted to Custom Fit the Body and the Sternum Strap which can be Raised or Lowered to Fit Both Men and Women along with the Extra Wide Kidney Pad with Adjustble Waist Belt. In Addition, the Main Pack has Padding on the Back along with Four Compression Straps on Each Side to Keep the Load Disperced More Evenly and Centered Around the Body. Its Internal Aluminum Frame with 2 Metal Ribs on the Outer Sides and 2 Larger Spars in the Middle can be Custom Bent if Needed. The Spars are Already Shaped to Fit Most People’s Backs. The Back and Sides of the Pack have Several Sewn on Strips of Webbing Allowing the Ability to Customize your Pack with MOLLE Accessories. The Main Compartment is Protected by a Corded Buckle-On Lid (When Supplied) that has Additional MOLLE Webbing, Provides Rain Protection Plus Sports an Easy to Access Zipper-Close Pouch. A Radio / Utility Pouch (When Supplied) is Buckled with-in the Main Compartment. There is also a Collapsible Divider to Allow Separation of the Upper and Lower Areas. The Main Pack also Features Two Elastic-Collar Pouches on Either Side on the Bottom with Thick Rubber Tubing Around Heavy Duty Double Zipper Pulls which make it
 Very Easy to Find by Feel in the Dark or Grip with Gloves on, Plus you are Able to Access the Bottom Without Pulling Everything Out From the Top. These Tall Pockets that Run the Full Height also make Nice Rests for Longer Items Like Poles or Tools or Hold Extra Water Bottles,
as Well as Buckle Attachment Points for the ILBE MARPAT Assault Packs. To Acsess the Integrated Hydration Pouch Pocket Just Pull the Front Snap Closure to Unroll, which Buckles in Three Places.
