The cage is beautiful and a nice accent to home decor even without a bird in it. I purchased it for my Love Bird but because of the windows in the front he could not see out and was not happy. He can not sit on a high perch as he only has one foot. Put him back in his old cage and he was ecstatic. Put the cage up on a plant shelf as decoration and it is perfect. Kind of expensive to sit on a shelf but I love it.

We actually chose a bird who matches the colors of the cage. (by accident of course!) This is a lovely cage. The bars are a beautiful shade of blue and it has easy access with front and back, top access doors. We needed to buy additional perches as this is a large cage for a parakeet and they enjoy many perching and climbing bars. The seeds and water dishes are a bit awkward to remove and fill. You have to lift the windows in the front of the cage and lift and remove them. But it is something you learn to work around.

Looks good and functions well. Though one corner of the cage does not want snap in place. Good for only one finch. I would not normally buy a cage this small. Cage should be at least 24 inches wide so they can fly back and forth but my finch was handfed and is out daily to fly around.
