This is an Odyssey 1 Video Game Console "RUN 1" which denotes the first shipment from Magnavox's warehouse for the first commercially released mass produced video game system. Less than 200,000 of this units were sold. You can count on one hand of how many of these units still remain brand new and are in private hands. This isn't the typical Model 1TL200 found here on Ebay (or anywhere), with descriptions like "played for a few hours to see if it worked", "New but missing an item" & "worked the last time I used it", we all know the type. This unit is third party verified by a panel of experts and graded, this unit is BRAND NEW. We have been selling rare gaming merchandise for decades now, it is the only one that we have seen containing the original Magnavox Factory Inspection Card, Service Sheets and "Thanks you for purchasing" documentation among other things. The Parents Magazine "money back guarantee" ribbon is clear across the front and rarely seen.
The father of modern video games who invented this console Ralph H Baer (and recently received the National Medal of Technology from the president), recently donated all of his related items to the Smithsonian. This included the "Brown Box" prototype for the 1TL200. He also donated his complete 1TL200 complete with all accessories.

Having personally viewed these collections and mind you.. none of which looked "new", this example looks exceptional compared to both examples that are currently on display.
