This was the first purchase I made from Overstock and I bravely purchased TWO of these gorgeous area rugs. The rugs were of the best quality and the color was perfect (as shown in picture). We had one rug that was't quite perfectly round, called Overstock, they generated a return ticket, plus generated ordering a replacement and it was an extremely easy, stress-free process. They had UPS pick up the rug the very NEXT day and a few days later, our new rug arrived. I can't say enough about the wonderful customer service, along with the product. I have absolutely sang Overstock's praises to my family and friends.
I am very pleased with this rug. At the price I was a little concerned about quality, but have been pleasantly surprised. Although it's a 1.5" shag, the yarns are twisted so they stand up nicely but still feel wonderful underfoot. (Some shags fall down and just look matted.) The yarns are all one color -- a beautiful charcoal gray -- but they appear to have variation in the light that gives the rug a sometimes silvery, sometimes charcoal appearance. Some new carpets have odors or shedding at first; no such issues here. Finding a round rug this large was a challenge, but I'm thrilled to have found just what I needed at a great price. Thank you!
It is a DARK shade of grey. Nothing light about it.
I purchased the 8'6" round rug to fit under my round 60" table ( over a dark wood floor). it works perfectly . It's a beautiful true charcoal - grey , no black -you can see a hint of white on tips. It's thick and wonderful under foot - you do not need a pad. Love the rug , it really added texture and warmth to my kitchen.
I already had a 6 foot rug like this rug but wanted a larger rug in my dinning room. Beautiful under my black table and chairs. The other rug is now in my living room and looks amazing under my grey sofa and coffee table.
