Here we have a beautiful Deans Marine model ship kit: the "HMCC Badger." All you need are the motors, couplings, servos, speed controller and radio to make this a well-performing RC watercraft!

The "Badger" customs cutter is a Customs & Excise launch based in Plymouth and in the service of Her Majesties Customs and Excise. The launch is designed for handling all but the worst conditions, and is renowned for her sea kindliness. As far as we know, the Badger was stationed at Plymouth with her near sisters, but at the present time we cannot obtain any further information for the Custom & Excise.

The kit is based on a glass fiber hull, with a glass fiber deck molding, completed with pre-molded access hatch. The superstructure is glass fiber as well; this is one buoyant replica!
The wheelhouse & funnel are molded from clear Styrolux, and the brass framing is from pre-cut brass vinyl. A full set of detailed fittings, cast in light alloy, are included in the kit along with all running gear, prop and rudder. Our model ship kits are always of the highest quality available, with laser-cut parts and ornamentation made from the finest materials for an authentic look. This brand new kit comes with detailed English instructions, though the "HMCC Badger" is best for intermediate to advanced builders!
