Scholz R&D Rockman Sustainor 200 #SP16,938 (19 AUG 88).  Very good condition!  Tested and works properly - sounds great!  Provides the classic Tom Scholz of Boston DISTORTION, EDGE, CLEAN 1, and CLEAN 2 channels.  Face plate is very good (graphics 100% intact, minor wear [a few nicks and scratches]).  All buttons and sliders intact.  Case is excellent (minor rack wear, micro cracks).  Top bolts and rear nuts and washers have been replaced with new nickel (will include originals, if you want them).  Original cable and plug intact.  A nice example of a Sustainor 200!  NO RESERVE!  Winning bidder pays $15 shipping (USPS medium flat rate box).  Feel free to ask questions.  Thanks for checking out my auction and good luck!  Chris

If you are looking for other Rockman gear, let me know!  I am constantly buying and selling and if I don't have it, I probably know someone who does!  The gear in the background of the photos is my personal collection.  While I am not actively selling these beautiful, hand-picked items, if you want to make me a ridiculous offer, go for it!  For the right price, I can get any module that was ever made in your hands to complete your collection!

I highly recommend getting all Rockman gear from the 1980s and 1990s refurbed.  All of this remarkable gear is now over twenty years old (in some cases, over thirty years old!) and the electrolytic capacitors should to be replaced and the circuits and wiring checked for the units to function as intended.  So where can you get your Rockman gear fixed?  A lot of people ask me this every month.  I highly recommend the following services:

 -  Perfect Sound Rock Refurbs (PSRR):  Dave Accomando at PSRR has refurbed most of the Rockmodules in my collection.  He is a true gentleman and I cannot say enough about his professionalism!  However, I know his wait list can be long (that’s probably my fault for sending him all of my gear but I digress…)!

 -  Rockman-Repair:  Dave Ferringer at Rockman-Repair has also worked on my gear and I am equally impressed with his professionalism!  He refurbed and effects loop modded two of my Distortion Generators and all I can say is, “WOW!”  And he’s open 24/7!

 -  B5 Amplification (Rockman Solutions):  Dwight Baker at B5 Rockman Solutions has also worked on my gear and I am equally impressed with his professionalism, as well!  He recently refurbed one of my X100 headphone amps and it took me back to 1986 when I bought my first X100 (BIG SMILE!!!)!  And he's also open 24/7!

As Rockman collectors, it benefits all of us to support these fine gentlemen!  Because as long as they are in business, our Rockman gear will still be working!

This item has not been refurbed and is sold as is.

INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING:  International bidders are welcome!  I have shipped many items using the eBay Global Shipping Program with no problems.  Thanks again and good luck!  Chris
A number of people have contacted me reference my Rockman listings and I've decided to answer some of the more commonly asked questions below:

1. Are you God?

No, I am not God.  I just happen to have an awesome collection of Rockman gear!

2.  I noticed you have your backup XPR setup in a rare SR&D stage head and your backup Sustainor setup in a matching RMC stage head.  Does this mean your backup setup is as good as my main setup?

No.  My backup setups are exact duplicates of my main setups and therefore, unless your name is Tom Scholz, Gary Pihl, or Dave Accomando, they are 100 times better than your main setup!  Next question...

3. Do you purposely take photos of your entire setup or from certain angles that are completely irrelevant to the item you are selling just to show off your Rockman collection?

Well, not my entire setup because that wouldn't fit in the photo! But yes, after highlighting the item for sale, I shamelessly and gratuitously take photos from different angles to show off my Rockman collection (although the item for sale is still in every picture!)! Many people have complemented me on the photos. To them, it's Rockman porn and I'm proud to amuse them! I'm sure others have fallen into jealous fits of rage since their setup will never be as good as mine but that's life. It's good to be me!

4. Are any of your many Rockman XPRs, Sustainor 200 Double ICs, Sustainor 200s, Sustainor 100As, Sustainor 100s, Smart Gates, EQs, Stereo Chorus/Delays, Stereo Choruses, Stereo Echoes, Midi Octopi, Remote Loops, or Midipedals in your collection for sale?

The short answer is no. Not the ones in my collection (otherwise, how would I play my guitar?). But I am constantly buying and selling and will list anything and everything I intend to sell (HINT: If it's located on top of the speakers, it will more than likely eventually be put up for sale!). Nonetheless, if you want to make me a ridiculous offer on something you see, go for it!  A few people have actually been successful!

5. Can you find specific Rockman items for me?

Yes. If anyone knows where an item is located, it's probably me. In fact, there's a good chance I already have it! I am almost always helping one or more people put together their setups.  So just ask and I will do whatever I can to help you! Keep in mind that certain items are easy to find and others not so much. Even for me!

6. Are you my daddy?

Figuratively, yes. Literally, anything's possible but probably not!

In all seriousness, feel free to keep the Rockman questions coming! This is my hobby and I thoroughly enjoy conversing with fellow Rockman collectors. I've tried just about everything and am more than willing to help you best choose and set up your Rockman gear. Thanks again for checking out my auctions and good luck! Very respectfully, Chris
