~Exotic water pashmina is light in weight and each side has a slightly different color tone.  I have marked the two different "sides" in the pictures below, center and left.  Wearing this shawl is like wearing a warming feather, it is so light and comforting!  Please note: most of the $5.00 Pashmina shawls are obviously, not Pashmina, as it can not be purchased at that price!!~

~Please note that the exact tone of red may vary from shipment to shipment but all will be a rich, "Buddha red" color.  Water pashmina is delicate and a bit of the sheer side, a wonderful light weight fiber for less severe climates or shrine rooms.  In the winter, we heat with wood at my gompa and it takes awhile for the heat to really fill up the shrine room, as it has a very high ceiling.  I have tried to show the slightly sheer nature of this fabric in the 3 pictures below and have marked the sheer area in the center picture.~

Cashmere is a very delicate wool. Pashmina shawls can be washed like cashmere sweaters - either by hand or in the cold wool wash cycle of the washing machine with a low spin. A mild detergent is suitable as a cleaning substance for wool products. After hand washing, gently knead pashmina shawls to expel the moisture from the fibres.
