1977 SECOND WORLD WAR PHOTO CARD CARD MEASURES: 4 7/8 x 4 11/16 inches (12.5 x 12 cm) CARD CONDITION: Near Mint to Mint condition A beautiful card from a large 2000+ card set that was released by Edito-Service from 1977 to 1979 (all cards are copyright 1977 but were available up to 1979). This set was released in subscription form, so you would remit payment each month to acquire more cards for the set. The back of the card is filled with a 300 or so word write-up in English including great facts about the subject featured on the front. This is an original 1970s card NOT a reprint.
This is card # 73-08 in the set and this card is part of the WEAPONS Subset. The story on the back is titled: An effective and versatile weapon. The caption below is found at the bottom of the card back and explains the picture shown on the card front: Illustration: 17-pounder a/t gun being manhandled into position.
