A history:
About 1.8 billion years ago largemeteoroid impacts of the Sudbury Igneous Complex brought to thesurface a unique combination of rare earth minerals. Not normallyfound on the surface, these metallic sulfates come from deep in themantle. Later on as plate collisions deformed and heated the region,pressurized hot water (1300 C+) began to dissolve the metallic ores.These newly formed hydrothermal fluids began to migrate into thepatterns formed by crustal faulting as new land was added byaccreation to the Canadian Shield. As the fluid cooled the rare earthminerals began to crystallize out of solution and line the walls ofthe faults. It was in just such a dramatic way our amethyst wasformed.
What makes thisamethyst so rich in rare inclusions is the nearby presence (8 milesaway) of a huge rifting event which generated large volumes of maficflood basalt and sill complexes. These deposits have been found to beextremely rich in Nickel, Copper, Platinum, Palladium and Gold. Themetallic minerals were then dissolved by super-heated hydrothermalfluids and flowed through massive parallel fault systems directly tothe mine. As the fluids began to cool the dissolved minerals weredeposited as crystal "pockets" lining the walls of thefaults. The entire crystal is composed of layered chevron phantomswhich, like tree rings, represent the historical events that firstshaped the North American Continent.

Ag, Au, Al, Ba, Be, Bi, Ca, Cd, Co, Cr,Cu, Fe, Hg, K, La, Mg, Mn, Mo, Na, N, P, Pd, Pb, S, Sb, Sc, Sr,Th,Ti, Tl, U, V, W, Zn, Zr.The crystals themselves are structuredlayers of phantomed chevrons composed of three base three quartzspecies, Amethyst, Citrine and a rare form of metamicted greenquartz. The mineral compounds they contain reportedly includeTitanite, Cacoxenite, Lepidocrosite, Ajoite, Hematite, Magnetite,Pyrite, Goethite, Pyrolusite, Gold, Silver, Platinum, Nickel, Copper,Iron, Limonite, Sphalerite, Covellite, Chalcopyrite, Gialite,Epidote, Bornite and Rutile.
When I sat down to meditate with twocrystals of Auralite-23, I was surprised by the sheer volume ofenergy coming from them. They are much stronger than regularAmethyst! When a stone is held at the crown chakra, its pulsationsmove fully through the brain, activating both the crown and thirdeye. They engender sensations of peace and tranquility in the mind,and bring into one's awareness a sense of being in the presence ofthe sacred. They remind one of the sacred nature of one's ownconsciousness, and they bring a quality of inner focus thatfacilitates deep meditation. The mind is quieted and calmed, theemotional body is stilled and the Liquid Crystal Body Matrix isattuned to its Divine Blueprint. When one holds one of these stonesat the crown chakra and a second one at the heart, a powerful circuitis created, helping to integrate heart awareness with one's usualsense of self.
Auralite-23 stimulates higherawareness and telepathic connection with one's guides and guardianspirits. It offers a direct and immediate link to what is called the"Magic Presence" in esoteric literature––the Selfbeyond the everyday "I" that knows one's life pattern anddestiny, and which can help one live one's life as an expression ofone's true spiritual purpose. In the poetic mystical tradition, thisaspect of oneself––so different that it seems like a Divine beingbeyond oneself––was known as the Beloved of the Soul. Union withthe Beloved was fervently sought by many spiritual aspirants. The link Auralite provides to higherrealms can instigate a process of inner purification. Those willingto receive this stone's blessings are inwardly "inspected"and cleansed of various inner knots of negative fixation. The feltsense of this can seem like a dissolving of one's cares andworries––a release of patterns of anxiety, resentment, judgement,depression and defeat. As this dissolution occurs, one feels anupliftment of one's spirit and an awakening to the potentialities fora new life. This rising of optimism and new hope is felt all the wayinto one's cellular consciousness. The body itself is awed and madereverent by the clearing of the veils of illusion and the dawning ofthe presence of one's true self, one's Higher Self.
Other effects of Auralite-23 caninclude an increase of one's psychic sensitivity, enhanced insightinto truth, disappearance of chronic problems with the body, abalanced awakening of kundalini, an awareness of the "eternalnow", spontaneous visions of future events, enhanced capacityfor soul travel and lucid dreaming, and experiences with Angels.
As a stone of the Divine Blueprint,Auralite-23 makes an excellent stone tool for spiritual healing. Itcan be applied to any area of the body in order to rebalance and healthrough the re-installation of one's Pattern of Perfection.Auralite-23 remind the body, on a cellular level, of its proper vitalfunction. As such, this is a stone of regeneration and rejuvenation.On the emotional level, the peace and widened awareness facilitatedby Auralite-23 can clear many triggers and snags that cripple theemotional body. This stone also helps heal the soul throughfacilitating remembrance of past lives and stimulating the insightneeded to release karmic patterns.
Auralite-23 encourages one to recognizethe blessings of one's life in relationship with the world. Itencourages one to meet each moment of experience with the positiveintention to bless the world with one's own love and self-giving.This Activity of Blessing is the essence of the New Consciousness,and is at the core of Auralite's nature.
