The Sigma 10-20mm f/4-5.6 EX DC HSM lens offers an ultra-wide zoom solution to digital cameras, and was exclusively designed to suit the characteristics of digital SLR cameras. The super wide-angle capability of this zoom lens makes it a very powerful tool for both indoor and landscape photography.

DC lenses are exclusively designed for digital SLR cameras. The image circle (rear of lens) is made to match the smaller dimensions used for the image sensor on digital cameras. As a result, these lenses are also more compact and lightweight, and are better matched to digital SLR cameras.

Correction for various types of aberration provided by three SLD (Special Low Dispersion) glass element and two aspherical lenses

The UV filter is one of the most important filters to own and it should be available for every lens. The filter blocks the invisible UV rays which can cause a loss of sharpness. The use of the filter is particularly recommended for work in the mountains, at the ocean, and in areas with very clear air. The contrasts are heightened, and distorting fog is avoided. The Opteka HD multi-coated UV (0) ultraviolet haze filter cuts haze for sharper black and white prints and corrects the blues and violets in color prints. The filter glass is colorless, and hence no increase in the exposure time is required.

Multi-coating can prevent light reflection, ghost light, internal reflection etc, making image clearer and sharper. It can dramatically improve image quality. This is specially important in digital cameras. Since the image sensors CCD or CMOS are highly susceptible to reflections, this stray light can ruin your photographs. Multi-coated glass benefit substantially reduced light reflections, resulting clearer image with greater contrast.

This type of filter is also eminently suitable as protection for the front lens, and because of its color-neutral properties it can remain on the camera lens permanently. A scratched front lens element can not be repaired; and replacement is costly. Exchanging a damaged UV filter for a new one is more economical than the purchase of a new lens.

For your convenience 47th Street Photo offers a 30 day return policy. If you are unhappy with your purchase for any reason you may return it for a refund or exchange. All returns require an RMA number. An RMA number will only be issued within 45 calendar days after the date of purchase. Your return must be received no later than 14 calendar days after issuance of RMA. All Returns may be subjected to a 15% restocking fee. A restocking fee will be determined upon receipt of return and inspected by our factory trained specialists. All returns must be return in the manner it was received with all manufacturers' accessories, manuals, and unfilled warranty cards. If a restocking fee is assessed, you will be notified by email. If a return is received without an RMA it will be refused and returned.

Refunds:
Refunds are applied to the payment method used at the time of purchase. Refund are issued 5-10 days after receipt of the returned merchandise, but may not post in your account for 1 billing cycle.
