The TWB Series Multi Fuel Boiler range are a modern units built to burn solid fuel with an attractive design and price. Build By Termotech, the TWB chassis been around for few years now, it doesn't break any records in terms of advancement in technology, but provides good quality, solid, heavy central heating boiler.
There is no electronics on these type of machines, the temperature control is performed by manual adjustment of air choke flap located on bottom door, this feature does require regular monitoring and will decide user suitability.
Fuel is loaded in through the middle door, upper door is for channel cleaning access and at the bottom there is ash emptying access door, this works in conjunction with grate shaker located at the side.
Once filled these multi fuel boilers should produce enough heat to last around 3-6 hrs, ash emptying is to be performed every 2-6 days and cleaning every 4-6 weeks. Cleaning takes approximately 15 - 20 minutes, the values are an average, they can change with temperature, fuel and demand.
These boilers will burn most solid fuels out there, few that were tested to produced good heat and long lasting refills are wood, coal, wood waste, peat and cardboard.
This is a 22kW output boiler, this power is enough to heat a property of around 220 meters or 2250 feet square.
