Mercedes NTG 4.0 Multimedia Video Interface

Connect any video source/Rear Camera to your Mercedes Comand System.


Our multimedia interface is a revolutionary product that allows you to integrate an external video source to your cars factory fitted Comand screen. Once installed, it gives you the ability to connect an in car DVD player, Digital TV tuner, Smartphone mirroring or Rear View Camera , or Front Camera.   The multimedia interface has a total of two video inputs, rear view camera input, front view camera and RGB connection to add Satellite Navigation if you do not have the factory fitted option.

The interface does not replace your original system - it offers perfect integration to maintain your OEM appearance.

    Installation

    Installation involves connecting the LVDS cable to the back of the Comand screen. Connect Power to the interface  and make your connections behind the screen  - Installation manual included. 

    Press and hold the "return button" or the toggle switch to change from the original Mercedes screen to RGB > AV1 > AV2

    Connect a 12v reverse supply if fitting a rear view camera. The interface will then switch to the rear view camera automatically when in reverse gear.

    Audio

    This interface is designed for video only.

    Audio is provided by connecting the video source to the AUX input


    Compatibility:

    Compatible with the Mercedes NTG4 Comand system with 7" Pop Out Monitor and the Audio 20 + Audio 50 with the 5" screen in the following models:

      C Class W204 - 2007-2010

           E Class W212 - 2009-2010 
     Not compatible with the NTG4.5 or NTG5 (see our store for alternative interface 
  • Also compatible with the Mercedes E Class W212 2010-2014 Without Comand Online and with No SD card slot on the dashboard.

Rear View Camera

DAB Digital Radio Interface

 Retain the original look of your vehicle whilst adding the DAB and DAB+ function. Displays station list and station/track/programme information on your screen. This is the ideal solution if your vehicle was not supplied with the DAB option as standard.

DVB-T Digital TV Tuner (including antennas)

Watch digital TV anywhere you go in your car. This high quality digital tuner is supplied with dual amplified window mount antennas for superior reception, especially when on the move.  There is also a USB input for playback of audio and video files.

 Rear Camera

The rear camera is specifically designed to fit the boot lid handle of the Mercedes Benz. Please select from the required model from the drop down menu.

Front Camera

The front camera is specifically designed to fit the grill on the front of the car.
