If you want just a little bit of protection and plush, this pad does a nice job. It was nice on my daughter's new twin bed which was a basic plush. I purchased a basic firm (regular) mattress for me and had too many pressure points while sleeping. This mattress pad in queen on my bed wasn't plushy enough. I'll try out higher fill/sq yard now such as 15oz or 18 oz. I also made the mistake of trying a fluffy topper and was too hot from how much a topper cradled me all around. I'm happy enough with the quality. have only washed once each.
So soft.... fit over a 6" fether mattress topper... Made my bet feel fantastic...
Fits Well, does not come untucked. Comfortable fluffy top, well made.
