KX500 KAWASAKI KX 500 2 PIECE CLUTCH COVER ADAPTER

That's right, the elusive KX500 2 piece clutch cover adapter.

I looked for years and couldn't find one so I made my own.

These are water jetted from .240" T-6 aluminum.

The beauty is these use a 06-15 KX450F clutch cover so if you fall and break your cover you simply get a new stock or aftermarket replacement.

Yes, you can use this adapter to give you more space for the Rekluse clutch.

What you do is you leave the clutch cover thicker then you do with a standard clutch.

However, you will need to modify your rear brake lever for the extra clearance that you will need.

What you will receive is the aluminum adapter plate in the first pic.

You will not receive any other parts.

The second picture is to give you an idea of what these look like mounted.

No, you do not get the bike or any other parts with the adapter :-)

You will need to machine your existing 1 piece clutch cover down and have this ring tig welded on.

The hole positions are water jetted as well so all you will need to drill to the correct size and tap them.

The edges of the part are raw water jetted surfaces.

They are a bit rough on the edges so don't expect a smooth machined surface.

I installed mine with the raw edges and it looks great but these could be polished.
