A vintage grained leather wallet.
Judging by the style, I would guess it was probably made around the 1960s or early 1970s - when £5 notes were the highest denominations that ordinary people carried round.

6 1/2" x 4" (17 cm x 10 cm) when closed.

Tan leather.
Embossed:

Genuine Leather
MADE IN ENGLAND

4 long open compartments for banknotes, receipts, etc - one is embossed for £1 notes, and one for £5 noes.
1 more long compartment with leather tab fastening.
1 large zipped coin purse compartment.
2 slots for tickets or cards - these are slightly smaller than a modern credit card, but they will take a modern credit card if you put it sideways instead of lengthwise.

There is no outer fastening - this is the sort of wallet that folds shut, not the sort that fastens.

Condition
Vintage wallet, in good condition.
This wallet is around half a century old, and has clearly been used, but not too much.
A few small scuffs and marks on the outside, but very good general condition.
