The 1893 5 CENTAVOS black on 10¢ revalued postal stationery envelope, uprated 5¢ with an added bisected 10¢ stamp, and sent from Guayaquil (Nov. 1893 cancels) to Tumbes. I have no idea why an additional 5¢ was required on a domestic usage, but Ecuador postal historians no doubt know. NOTE reduced at left on opening – see right side of back scan below.
