for sale here is a  very nice clean original model hardy marquis no. 8/9 trout  fly fishing reel , 3 & 5/8ths" , 2 screw drum release ,  smooth alloy foot  , rear tension , twin checks , left or right wind , reversible nickel silver lineguard , overall excellent working order with no damage , good strong loud check , tight with no slackness , most of paint intact with only a very small amount of wear on the rim as can be seen... .  very very good example...comes with excellent spare spool with plastic hardy cog cover and 2 reasonably good and clean hardy padded cases which have the usual little tear at the seam , ...please see my other listings of hardy and other vintage fishing items this week...
