The Defro DPBI range of wood pellet boilers are the most advanced offering in the multi fuel burner sector before entering the MCS RHI grant approved selection.
Primary fuel are wood pellet and a fuel the size of no more that 20mm qube, these include grain and pea coal or slack, wood, waste, shrubs, cardboard and other bigger sized fuel can be loaded manually through the middle door. The hopper is mounted on the side and the electronic control module controls speed of the auger feeding the fuel in to the fire box, at this point the self ignition module ignites and the boiler burns heating the hot water. The computer has a control over 2 pumps allowing the boiler to provide hot water for central heating or for consumption, a single pump use is a default. As well as pump control the user friendly touch screen computer is constantly calculating and adjusting fuel and air supply also, with the aid of external temperature probe supplied, adjusting power delivery after looking up preprogrammed algorithms for temperature differentiation.
