This is a Sheaffer Targa brown thuya ronce laque finish fountain pen with 23k gold electroplated trim and 14k solid gold nib. The depth and quality of this finish is a result of being individually hand laquered 14 times and polished, also by hand, to a deep, luminous glow.  The pen was manufactured from 1978 to 1994.  It is in excellent, possibly used condition.
