Complete punched games include all maps, charts, rules, and counters and are sorted for ease of setup and play. Punched counters are verified against unpunched games or images of unpunched counter sheets. Punched counters are then sealed in trays or zip bags for shipping. Also if we end up paying less than originally quoted in shipping (this largely depends on the box and packing material weight, USPS boxes tend to weigh less than regular boxes) we will refund anything over our cost of postage (excluding ebay's fee on postage) .

War of Wizards - TSR 1975 M.A.R. Barker Petal Throne - P - Complete

War of Wizards from TSR Games [2nd Printing (Actual Original First Official Printing in game form)]: 1975 by M.A.R. Barker - Empire of the Petal Throne - Tekumel) is punched and verified as COMPLETE in very good to excellent condition. The Rule Book has some light stains on the front and rear covers, a light crease down the middle, and handling wear normally associated with use (but not hard use). Inside pages are clean. The Arena Map is clean on the playing surface and has some light tan stains on the back. The Spell Table is slightly yellowed from age and has light handling wear. The Turn Record Sheet Master (must be copied for use) has light wear. There is no box as the first printings were sold in a ziplock bag.

NOTE: The original printing (so-called 2nd printing) of this game, as published by TSR, DID NOT include the four 15mm lead wizard / priest miniature character playing pieces by Grenadier Miniatures that were included with the later boxed version of the game.
 
Unit Scale: Individual Wizards / Priests

War of Wizards is the game of fantastic duels between mighty sorcerers and is set in the world of Tekumel. Players are wizards or priests dueling in a Hirilakte Arena, or other dueling location. They begin at opposite sides of the arena, which is 20 spaces long. They alternate throwing spells at each other, which they choose from a vast array of 71 different types. Hurled spells might be visible or invisible, and are represented by cardboard chits, turned face up or face down. Spells advance toward the opponent each turn, with some fighting the opponents spells they encounter on the way, while others do not. Each player rolls the dice to determine their maximum point levels for Physical Power, Attack Strength, and Defense Strength. Points are alloted to a spell by the caster and are then scored against the opponent's Physical Power if the attack is successful. The victor is the player who exhausts their opponents Physical Power.      

The rule book is 39 pages long, 20 of which are a list of spells and effects. There is a good deal of record keeping - since players must track information on all their spells and wizard.
