I'm Hope Barrow, the artist behind Hope's Dream Babies. I've been a reborn artist since 2001 and have enjoyed watching the art evolve into what it is today. My dolls have been sold to people all over the world, and are currently on display in the Minnesota Historical Society's ''Baby Boom'' Nursery Exhibit. I've had one doll featured in a Public Service commercial about SIDS, one featured in a Network TV show and another to appear in an Independent Film currently being produced.
This auction is for a Custom made to order Limited Edition NAOMI Sculpt. Choose from any of the samples or make your own choices as far as skin tone/mottling, and painted hair color/style. (I'm only offering painted hair at this time!) You can also choose to have your baby come dressed as a girl or boy, and choose a full frontal boy or girl vinyl belly plate. Naomi's Details are:
19" sized baby, weighing between 4-5lbs
He/She will be hand painted and sealed with fine quality air dry paints, which are non-toxic, and once cured become permanent. I use several thinned layers to create that ''living skin'' appearance and life-like quality in all of my dolls. Painting details include skin, brows, nails, hair, veining and blemishes. Lashes will be hand rooted. "Naomi" was sculpted by the talented Denise Pratt and she is loaded with sculpting detail! She is an adorable cuddly baby with full arms and legs and is made from Bountiful Baby's trademark extra soft Babyskin vinyl. Your baby will be assembled with a super soft, custom DOE SUEDE body. She/He will be perfectly weighted with fine glass beads, plastic pellets, and soft polyfil. All of my babies have a very natural/floppy fell to them and curl right up in your arms.
Your baby will also come with his or her own unique outfit and extras like a magnetic paci and hair bow or hat.Here's your chance to help created your very own Dream Baby!
