It is a truth universally acknowledged, that a zombie in possession of brains must be in want of more brains.

Empire Line (this measurement is the circumference taken directly beneath the breasts) 36" (93cm)  Arm Circumference: (measured around the widest part of your upper arm, i.e the bicep)  12" (31cm), Length (this measurement is taken from mid~shoulder, midway between the neck & shoulder joint down to the tip of your toe, preferably stockinged feet) 56.5" (144cm).

If you would like the dress shortened, simply submit your measurement as per instructions above & it will be altered free of charge. Should you require a bespoke dress, gown or Regency suit, tailored specifically for you, we can accommodate you through our world wide site, Cloisters Inspirations UK (co.uk)

Please measure yourself accurately before purchasing this outfit, as mistakes cannot be later rectified.  We also advise that an uplifting bra is worn to give maximum Regency 'umph' & to ensure the empire line sits in situ.  It was fashionable to wear a stay to give the correct period outline ~ this was not in order to reduce the waist but to push up the bust in order that the 'bounce' didn't continue once the dancing had stopped & the empire line sat as designed, directly beneath the breasts!  These days we are not so inhibited, however, the authentic design of the Regency gown does mean that a generous bust is evident ~ and why should it not be so!  Elizabeth Bennet, Marianne Dashwood, Emma Woodhouse, et al, would have worn a gown such as this.  The style, material & any trims of this outfit were extremely fashionable for the daughter of a gentleman.

Please pay within 24 hours of purchase.  The gown will be dispatched to you, within one working day, upon payment receipt by Royal Mail 'Tracked' service (please note that, due to our local post office hours, dispatch cannot take place on Saturday or Sunday). Postage & packaging is gratis for UK residents.  Sometimes, it is possible to dispatch the same day; if this happens, we will ask if it is convenient before dispatching your parcel.
