This item came in two boxes on two different day with about three days in between deliveries. Be sure to wait for the 2nd box. Once I unpacked all of the pieces I followed the pictures step by step. Not too bad considering it was completely unbuilt. Some simple pre organization and time to contstruct and it was put together with no problems. It is heavy so it helps to have a second pair of hands when alligning the top surface piece. Nice and solid for a piece of furniture that won't be moved too often.
The item came fast, but the item was black not brown color. The item came damaged, but I was able to fix it. Easy to put together. Once put together it is a nice piece of furniture.
My husband is putting this together right now and I swear I wish I would have read the previous review before buying this. The instructions for putting this together are absolutely ridiculous. The glass pieces do not fit into the opening for the two cabinits, probably 1/2 inch off, you can see the brackets that hold the glass in place. None of the holes were pre-drilled. I am extremely disappointed. It looks and feels cheap. I guess you get what you pay for. Should have spend some more money on a better quality stand. Don't be deceived by the picture. If it wasn't already close to being put together I would send it back. Going to have to take the doors to a glass shop to see if they can fit glass into the cabinet doors. Do not buy this!
this came in soooo many pieces, it took us 2 hours to put together and we never could not get the doors to go together correctly, so ultimately, we left them off. the small legs are square which dont match the rounded ends of the unit.. not all of the shelves are tall enough for DVD's ... its fine we will keep it - mainly because I dont want to take it apart and send it back... it will hold the TV we bought it to hold ..
