Offered for sale is a stunning 1930's Patek Philippe gents wrist watch. The watch is in excellent overall condition and is running well and keeping good time.

The solid gold hallmarked case is in excellent condition, showing wonderful thick lugs and great lines, free from heavy signs of polishing. The caseback is hallmarked on the inside, but i have been unable to determine the origin of the hallmarks (Please get in touch if you know). The case has the numbers 23332 stamped on the inside of the caseback as well. It is not known to me wether this is an original Patek Philippe case or a case made specifically for this movement under local production laws. I have not tested the purity of the gold, but one would assume 18ct. Please view all the photos and ask any questions if you are unsure. The hallmarks appear to be a wolfs head on top and below the letters ML.

The stepped black dial i believe was refinished at some point in the history of the watch, it is unknown to me when this happened. The dial features a gilt outer chapter ring to mark the minute positions, painted arabic hour markers and a sub seconds dial complete with gold sweeping seconds hand the hour and minute hands are also gold.

The movement is stunning, signed Patek Philippe and co, Geneve with the serial number 165987. There are no obvious numbers to state the movement calibre number, which is also unknown to me.

The buckle is a genuine 18ct solid gold Patek Philippe signed buckle, with the hallmarks depose, AW, 0.750 & PPCo present and clear. The strap is well used but of excellent quality, made by the world renowned Camille Fournet. A brand new strap can be included at request.

The watch measures at approximately 31mm wide excluding crown and 37mm from lug to lug.

The plexi crystal is free from marks or scratches.

I try to describe everything to the best of my ability. Please view all photos, they provide part of the listing. If there is anything you aren't sure of, please feel free to ask. For an instant direct response please call on 07716 391401.

Viewing is welcomed and recommended. I am based in Hertfordshire/Bedfordshire.

All part exchanges considered. Please contact me if you have a watch you would like to trade.

For international bidders, only Parcel Force shipping will be used, this is for both of our safety and protection. Parcel Force offer full tracking and security until the watch is signed for and delivered. I am subsidising the true cost of this shipping, it is expensive, but it is also the best. I will not use any other shipping method.

Buyers with less than 10 feedback, please contact me before bidding. Due to a high number of low feedback eBayers not completing deals, your offer (no matter how high) will not be accepted or considered unless you send me a simple message before to show that you are capable of holding a proper conversation!

As with all vintage mechanical watches, this will not be as accurate as their modern counterparts.
