Beautiful NOS condition. Limited to 250 pieces, this sapphire blue C9 Harrison Chronograph model is absolutely stunning in person. The dial features a sunburst treatment, while the 2 subdials feature sunray treatments. Together, when viewed in sunlight, the dial produces a contrasting effect that makes the sapphire blue color glow to spectacular effect. It is truly one of the most beautiful dials I have seen. The silver tone hands, numerals and subdial borders further adds to this effect. Christopher Ward designed this watch to commemorate the 250^th anniversary of Briton John Harrison’s invention of the H4 Chronometer that enabled sailors to calculate longitude, opening the era of world travel. The sapphire blue in the dial and band symbolize the color of the ocean. The design is breathtaking and stands out wonderfully. Number 209 of 250. Original retail price was $1350.     

Watch Details

This watch is 99.99% LNIB condition. I purchased it new in June, 2014. Just over 2 years left on warranty. The case, crystal and case back are in perfect condition with absolutely no blemishes. Chronograph functions work perfectly. The band is also in outstanding condition. The only reason I don’t give this watch a 100% is a very light surface mark on the underside of the band just above the last pin hole. Please see images. Mark was made by the clasp resting against the band while stored in the box and does not go past the surface. The clasp is in perfect condition. This watch is in mint, NOS level condition.
