Sonic Electronix wants to make sure that you are completely satisfied. If for some reason you aren't happy with product(s) and want to return it, we make returns and refunds simple.
- 60-Day Returns: Send back your order within 60-days of delivery for a refund back to the original form of payment, store credit or replacement.
- 365 Day Warranty: For any one-year warranty, please contact the manufacturer for repair when product(s) is advertised as “Authorized Internet Dealer.” Please contact Sonic Electronix when you see any“SonicElectronix.com warranty” on the product page.
- No Restocking Fee on Like-New Merchandise Unopened and Like-New product are eligible for a refund within 60 days.
- “Like-new” is any product in its original packaging: unused, uninstalled, in the manufacturer’s ‘beauty box’ with all protective stickers/shrink wrap and all included accessories.
Any product returned not “like-new” will be charged a 15% restocking fee.
- Defective equipment will not be charged any restocking fee. We will provide you with a pre-paid return shipping label (domestic customers) within our 60 day return period once we validate the issue(s). If you ordered internationally, you are responsible for all return shipping expenses. Please be aware that claims of “defect” for the same product two or more times suggests your installation is problematic, not your equipment.
- Damaged or Lost Merchandise If your received your product(s) with physical damage to the equipment, shipping box or both, all of our packages are insured so we will open a damage claim with the carrier. Please do not send back these product(s) as the carrier will arrange inspection/pick-up within three business days of the claim being opened. For any package that was lost during transit, you are also protected and we will open a loss claim with the shipping carrier.
- Non-returnable products We have defined product that can not be returned: no exceptions.
* product(s) with different or defaced serial number.
* product(s) returned that were damaged due to improper packaging.
* Opened software or media.
* Pre-cut wire
* product(s) made-to-order and some special-orders (e.g. vehicle specific alternators)
* Mounted or used subwoofer enclosures and speaker boxes.
* Blown, punctured or fried speakers, subwoofers and amplifiers.
- Customer Damage and Abuse Not Protected If you come across any challenges during DIY installation, please contact Sonic Electronix for technical support or go to a local professional.
Sonic Electronix recommends professional installation by an MECP Certified technician. If you do any installation yourself (DIY) or through an uncertified entity, you may cause damage or failure of your product(s), accessories or vehicle.
- Installation Expense(s) Sonic Electronix does not refund any installation service(s). Those arrangements are entirely outside of our business.
- Liquidation Station Merchandise Open Box (O/B) and Refurbished (R/B) product is sold “as is” with limited warranty coverage. Protection varies by product, please refer to the “features and specs” for specific eligibility.
DOA (dead on arrival) or products advertised “complete” that are missing parts will be covered within 30-days of delivery.
- Return to Sender Please make sure you (or someone else) are available upon delivery given many shipments have a signature requirement. If there’s no signature requirement, UPS will drop off your package at the front or side door. UPS makes three delivery attempts, holds packages for one-week* at their select facility before returning it to Sonic Electronix.
USPS will deliver small packages to your mailbox and larger boxes to your front or side door.
- Domestic Taxes and International Customs/Duties Any domestic sales tax will be reimbursed once your return is received. International customs/duties is a government incurred expense (beyond our control) and non-refundable even if you send back your product.
