A brand new unworn Seiko SKX007 that has been carefully customised with the addition of:

-Seventies navy blue dial.Semi-matte finish with multilayered Superluminova 95%C1 and 5%C3 for extra brightness. Date window at 3 o'clock.

-Plastic chapter ring has been replaced with a custom machined brushed stainless steel ring.This quality custom part is supplied by dr.seikostain(One.Second.Closer).Also supplies an awesome array of highly customised bezels,inserts and other parts to fit SKX dive watches.

-The flat Hardlex has been replaced with a double domed AR coated sapphire.These are much harder to scratch and give the dial an extra degree of clarity.The AR coating has a bluish sheen in certain light conditions.Sapphire is rated 9 on the MOHs scale and second only to diamond in hardness.This type of crystal is generally fitted to your high end Swiss watches.

-Bezel insert replaced with a blue Mariner style insert.Lume pip at 12 o'clock with silver markers and numerals.

-The dive strap has been replaced with a light tan Catalonia.These are thick sealed edges excellent quality,22mm diameter.

-The Seiko stainless bezel has been replaced with a 316l stainless steel custom CT bezel.These have been newly developed by Alex from crystaltimes(also supply an extensive range of high quality Sapphire crystals)This is a classically designed coin edged bezel with 120 coin ridges and 120 clicks.Highly polished and such is the engineering they fit perfectly using the original click ring and bezel gasket.Unique, in that they are unidirectional, allowing the watch to be safely used for dive timing.These bezels mimic the highly sought after bezels of the earlier Seiko divers.

-Vintage Autodive hands set.Hour hand white with lume strip,minute hand orange with lume strip,second hand white with lume filled ball.

This is a stunning composition with the blue and light tan strap-the perfect watch for the summer!!!

The SKX007 is itself a classic very affordable ISO rated 200m dive watch.

The culmination of a number of dive models that started life in the 1950's.Powered by Seiko's own 7s26c Japanese automatic-well respected and will run for decades.These are well constructed and the little dinks and scratches from everyday use just add character to these very collectable watches.The alterations completely change the look of this watch and give a very unique stylish high value look to this classic dive watch.

This is a highly customised Seiko SKX007 with just the case and movement remaining from the original watch.The finished watch has been pressure tested in a Swiss made Bergeon5555 to 2-3bar.This equates to 20-30m depth.This watch,provided a water resistant strap is fitted,will be fine for use in the pool and most leisure dive purposes.

The alterations void the international warranty but I guarantee my watch movements for 1 year.
