Antique hand carved wood 'Lion of Lucerne' wall plaque

Superbly carved in high relief, the lion is carved into a deep recess in the wood with carved Latin motto to the top and bottom of the frame.

Measures approx. 32.5cm wide x 26cm high x 5.5cm deep  // Weight 1.4kg

In beautiful antique condition, with a lovely shiny patina. There are no splits in the wood.
