Vintage 1987 SR Custom Engraved Japanese alloy crankset with steel double chainrings, saved from a classic 1980's Raleigh road bike. Stamped 87 165 Japan.
Would be good for a rebuild or l'eroica project.
165mm crank length. Chain rings have 52 and 42 teeth. The cranks are cotterless - No fixing nuts or dust caps are included.
Weight: 880g approx. for both crank arms and chain rings.
Cosmetically clean. Some marks, scratches and tarnishing to crank arms. Heavier scratches to left arm. Some scratches and small corrosion marks to chainset. Surface scratch damage to rivet where crank is fixed to spider (reflected in price - see pic 3) Chain ring teeth do have wear and marks as expected but in good shape for age. All threads are good. Overall reasonable condition for age. Please see all photos.
