For its second season, Nike retooled the upper of the Nike Dual Fusion to be even more fashion friendly. Using a combination of sandwich mesh and leather, shoe designers created a great-looking upper that pops color while also securing your foot in place as you tackle the road ahead. The sandwich mesh keeps your foot cool in most conditions by being strategically placed in certain cooling zones. The midsole remains the same. This entry-level runner gives the neutral to mildly overpronated (low arch) woman the power and comfort of dual cushioning. On the exterior of the midsole is a cradle built of dual-density Phylon foam. The firmer exterior provides the needed support to rack up the miles, while the interior of the midsole is comprised of a softer, plush Phylon, giving that responsive, springy cushioning that all runners love! The Nike Waffle outsole grips a variety of surfaces with the security that made Nike a household name. Flex grooves work to provide you with a more natural transition through the gait cycle.
