NEW BLUE TINT Glass 89-96 CORVETTE ROOF
This listing is for a new 89-96 blue smoked acrylic Corvette roof. These roofs are the highest quality roof on the market delivered direct from the GM licensed manufacturer. The frames are new GM frames and not used reconditioned. The lens is hard coated with an abrasion resistant coating as they originally were from the factory. The lens is DOT (Department Of Transportation) approved and stamped, which is important for certain state safety inspections. This roof comes complete with all the required parts and gaskets for a direct fit installation. This roof will come with installation instructions, as some adjustments are required when replacing these roofs.
Verifying Fitment- Please view our mounting hardware photo and compare to your roof before you purchase. You may know the year of your car, but there is a possibility your roof may have been retrofitted at one point in time, or adapted from a different model. We are not responsible if someone orders the wrong year. All shipping obligations will be upon the buyer to send the roof back for an exchange.
Features:
Warranty- The manufacturer of this roof offers a non transferrable lifetime adhesion warranty. Similar aftermarket roofs are known to come apart after only a few months on the road, even factory supplied roofs had these same issues. The manufacturer of these roofs is so confident in their bonding process that they will boldly stand behind it for the full time period you own it. If the lens does begin to separate from the frame, the manufacturer will re-bond it at no charge.
The Other Guys- These roofs dominate the replacement Corvette roof market in sales for one reason- Quality! We don't know any other manufacturer using OEM spec hard coated lenses. Why? The hard coating is expensive. In most instances the hard coating process is the same cost as the lens itself. Other aftermarket suppliers buy cheaper uncoated plastic to achieve greater profit margins, and the buyer is left with a unprotected roof that will be hazy after 1 year of washing. Have you ever seen a cheap motorcycle helmet lens or scratched up cheap sunglasses. That is uncoated plastic. Your Oaklies don't do that because they are coated, which is also why they are more money.
Finally- beware of upfront prices with add ons after checkout. Some companies charge outrageous shipping fees, new gasket charges, and no warranties
