This is a vintage (c.1982) handheld receiver.
It is a solidly-built set, weighing in at 0.450 kg, 15.9 ounces.
It is in remarkably good condition for a used domestic item of this era.
Cosmetically, the casing is in undamaged condition.
There are one
or two light marks to rear panel but no chips or other damage.
* The carrying strap and earphone are missing.

The radio tuner operates correctly on all wavebands.

The sound quality, for a handheld radio, is exceptionally good.
Audio distortion is minimal.
The earphone socket mutes the speaker when in use.
This item
appears to have had little use.
There is no wear apparent when the volume and tuning controls are adjusted.
The battery compartment is “as new”.
The radio specification recommends 4 x 1.5 volt AA batteries
(not supplied due to postal restrictions).
