Vintage Nativity Creche Large Standing 7.5" Shepherd Boy Lamb Paper Mache Italy

Offered at auction is a vintage nativity figurine-a young shepherd-for a larger size creche. Measuring 7 1/2" tall, 2 3/4"" wide, and 2 3/4" deep, he is depicted standing with a lamb draped across his shoulders, and looks to be made of a paper mache. The can of V-8 is for a sizing reference. He is handpainted and although he is not stamped on the base, I believe he was made in Italy. As you can see from my photos, he is in very gently used condition and I do not detect any damage other than he took a tumble and the paint on his nose has chipped off-could be touched up if desired with a bit of paint. Great piece for your nativity if you are in need of a shepherd to round out your display!
