    Please NOTE:  Surfaces must be clean, dust free, and dry before application.  While the surface of the tape is waterproof the adhesive is definitely not.  If you give it a 2-3 times wrap and make tight wrinkle free layers, it will last a very long time.  The adhesive is pressure sensitive and heat activated.  If you plan on leaving it outdoors for a long time, make sure you really press it firmly into place and get it as warm as possible initially to set the adhesive.  The dryer and warmer the installation, the longer the adhesive will endure.  A vinyl tarp repair may last 1 season, but wrapping a 6" pvc pipe may last 3 or 4 if it never moves.  We encourage you to send us pictures, tell us what you did and your results!
