This is a well loved and played Martin DX1 Tawny Satinwood Acoustic Guitar which is a hard to find guitar. This has been my "go to" guitar for the last couple of years. I've had it set up and it plays beautifully and easy. I put Elixir Phosphor Bronze Light strings on it and a leopard pick guard on it which makes it look awesome. It has a crack on the upper bout by the neck which I sealed with super glue. Not the best job but it hasn't moved at all in the last couple years. You will love how this guitar feels and plays. It will be shipped with a hardcase that's not in the best of condition and with insurance.
Solid-top tone and striking graphic touches set the DX1 apart . The 14-fret DX1 dreadnought acoustic guitar from Martin blends the attractive figured wood grain pattern of tawny satinwood high pressure laminate (HPL) back and sides with a solid-Sitka spruce top. The rosette is inlaid with a unique art deco design, laser cut from contrasting East Indian rosewood, maple, and koa. Style 45 maple hexagons are inlaid with a koa diamond in the morado fingerboard.
