RARE VINTAGE 1940's CHANEL No. 22 EXTRAIT PERFUME TESTER BOTTLE W GLASS DAUBER

RARE VINTAGE 1940's CHANEL No. 22 EXTRAIT PERFUME TESTER BOTTLE W GLASS DAUBER

Being Offered is this Rare Vintage Chanel No 22 Tester Bottle that is full enough to make me believe that it has never been opened. It's not marked but I think it's a 1/4 ounce bottle, its a small bottle, measures only 2 & 1/8 inches to top of cap, its about 7/8th s across and 5/8th s wide. Bottle has a flange base which I believe for use in a tester rack, it also has a glass Dauber inside, it is embossed on the bottom "Chanel" and has a black cap with the fancy Chanel logo detailed in white, the label reads "No 22 CHANEL", there is a tiny dot below the little"o" in "No" which indicates this bottle of perfume was made between sometime in the 1920's and 1951, after 1951 the dot was no longer used. This old bottle of Chanel No 22 came from a family owned pharmacy that opened in the late 20's and closed in the early 80's at that time all the contents were moved into storage and have been hidden away until recently! I guess what intrigues me the most is looking at the dark color of the extrait, I bet it is wicked strong and concentrated

Thanks for looking!
