♥ DESCRIPTION: A stunning vintage, black velvet, maxi long, generously tailored cape with huge deep collar, by Laura Ashley with elegant & distinctive styling ~ high rounded neckline ~ ornate embroidered & swirled loop & toggle fastenings ~ arm holes concealed in the side seams ~ long, floaty very full shape ~ gorgeous luxury and very high quality heavy velvet as you'd expect from vintage Laura Ashley. ~ The back is just stunning also ~ from the back the beautiful cascades of the black velvet can be truly appreciated, broken at the top by the deep collar, which drapes down the top of the back. ~
This cape is just so amazing! ~ the sumptuous black velvet fabric, and long maxi length, is so incredibly elegant & luxurious & creates such a gorgeously sexy & flattering fit! ~ & the swirled toggle & loop fastenings & deep collar just add that extra touch!!! ~ This really is a very special piece indeed & one to be worn for any occasions! Luxury quality fabric ~ very high quality as you'd expect from Laura Ashley ~ 75% Cotton & 25% Viscose, which is quite substantial and sumptuous, heavy but not too heavy, so it gives you the freedom to move easily, & hangs beautifully ~ fully lined in black silky fabric.
