Here we have a front ARMSTRONG brand, made in United Kingdom front lever shock.  Most likely a MGB front lever arm shock? One of Forged arm has " 8207A"  and the other " 7580 "   Stamped on the base is " 4278" .  This could be the date code of 42 week, 1978? Please make sure of your application.

Motion is smooth, but consider this a core for rebuild, restoration.   Sorry, no returns....  Sold AS IS....
