Friedberg spent time with Brahms, and was one of his only "pupils" to record.  Zodiac Z-1001 was released in a special, limited edition with this pink cover, and then later more widely with a completely different cover.  Friedberg hated recorded piano, and avoided the studio until he was won over at the very end of his career.  This, "for the first time recorded, is a sample of Mr. Friedberg's combined pianism and musicality presented with his characteristic vitality."  He "represents to us the last link with that great musical era of romanticism" that existed during the time of Clara Schumann and Johannes Brahms.  A superb piano history artifact.

Vinyl VG/VG+; cover is split across top, shows age, VG.
