<COLLECTABLE LOT>
Up for sale I have this antique magnifying glass with silver art nouveau style cherub handle. Unfortunately the date letter and makers mark have been rubbed in the hallmarks so I can't give an exact year for when this was made. I would estimate this dates to the late Victorian or Edwardian period judging by the style of the handle. Please judge for yourself the condition of the lot from the pictures and if
it's in a condition you would be happy with. As seen the
magnifying glass is a lovely looking piece and is in a collectable condition. There is a chip on one side of the glass near the handle as shown but this in my opinion doesn't decrease the desirability of this piece. The handle of the mirror has a design of two cherubs on both sides within an art nouveau style border. The glass surround doesn't appear to be hallmarked so I assume this to be silver plated or similar rather than actual silver. The whole piece has been cleaned and polished so shouldn't need cleaning any further in my opinion. Approximate dimensions of the piece at its widest points are 10.5cm x 21cm and it weighs approx 237g. A nice lot that would make a good addition to
